How can we create Norway’s best corporate kick-off together?
- Norway
- B2E Event
This was the challenge Sopra Steria gave to three event agencies in March 2024 when, for the first time since June 2022, they wanted to gather all 3,000 employees at Oslo Spektrum – Oslo’s largest concert arena.
Sopra Steria, which has been named Norway’s best workplace multiple times, wanted to foster unity, pride, and a sense of belonging among all employees, create lasting workplace memories, and build a culture with a unique ability to continuously embrace and drive change.
Sopra Steria Norway is an advanced event buyer with high expectations and loads of experience – in other words, they wanted something extraordinary.

The concept
With the brief in mind and the clients previous experiences Liwlig Norway developed a concept which was built upon the three business areas "Digitalization, Sustainability, and Innovation", the employee promise "Go together. Reach further", and most importantly: fostering pride around the slogan "The world is how we shape it."
And “SWITCH” was born

Ever since its establishment in the late 1960s, Sopra Steria has been in constant development and motion.
Their secret? An unwavering willingness to change – and a genuine joy in embracing it.
The employees at Sopra Steria have always adapted to a world in flux/change, often staying ahead of it. In today’s fast-changing landscape, they have turned change into their greatest strength.
This is the driving force behind their success – for themselves, their customers, and the world. Now, as they brought together 3000 new and longtime employees, they did so to celebrate exactly this – the willingness and joy of change.

The event
From the moment guests arrived at the arena, they were invited on an energetic, entertaining, and surprising journey through the company’s history.

The switches/changes were visually communicated through a spectacular, custom-designed 360-degree screen production. With its 29,468 x 480 pixels, it took guests on a journey—from Sopra Steria’s establishment throught three visual themes “Peace &love” in the late 1960s, “Tropical bliss” through today’s increasingly tropical global climate, and into “Tech(NO)” celebrating Norwegian tech and the digitalized society of the future.
As they traveled through time, guests were encouraged to use their curiosity to explore a variety of activities and experiences across four switch- (activity) rooms. Those who searched would constantly discover something new—stand-up comedy, choir performances, quizzes, silent disco, bingo, karaoke, and even line dance classes! Everything was designed to continuously surprise and create excitement about change.

And when their wristbands started flashing, it was a sign to make their way back to the main stage where the some of the most popular Norwegian artists were preforming.
